At Schnelle Partners we are a dedicated team that works together to provide a complete accounting and tax service that helps our clients achieve their business goals.

We are highly professional, with the experience to guide our clients in making informed financial decisions promoting ongoing growth and profitability.

Each member of our team has a diverse range of skills allowing us to offer our clients an individual service tailored to their specific needs.

Schnelle Partners was founded by Roger Schnelle in 2001.

Ryan Gilbert

Ryan is a dedicated accounting professional known for his practical approach and commitment to helping clients thrive in business and life. He became the owner of Schnelle Partners alongside his wife Alice in 2022 and brings over a decade of experience as a local accountant. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from Charles Sturt University and has since completed his Chartered Accountant Diploma, obtained his Public Practice Certificate, and become a registered tax agent.

Ryan is passionate about supporting clients through every stage of their business journey. His experience in Albury has given him exposure to a wide range of industries, including small to medium-sized family businesses, investments, primary production, construction, automotive dealerships, healthcare providers, retail and e-commerce, and professional services.

He has a strong interest in cloud accounting, not only for its efficiency in bookkeeping and accounting but also for its ability to provide end-to-end software solutions. With its many time-saving features, cloud accounting allows clients to focus more on growing their business.

Cindy Willet

Cindy has been with Schnelle Partners since the 2011 merger with The Next Step. Cindy started with The Next Step in 2003 and before that worked for an accounting firm in Bega giving her over 20 years experience in the profession. Cindy holds a Bachelor of Business attained by studying part-time whilst working full-time.

Cindy is a senior accountant with Schnelle Partners and deals with a vast range of clientele including farmers, medical professionals, retailers, manufacturers as well as rental property owners. She holds accreditations with Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks, Reckon One and is particularly proficient in MYOB, Xero and Reckon.

Outside of work interests include travelling, music concerts, gardening and frequent visits to her nephews in Melbourne.

Michaela Adams

Michaela joined the Schnelle Partners team in January 2020. Michaela is a Chartered Accountant with almost 20 years’ experience working as a local accountant.  She holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting.

Michaela is passionate about assisting clients with tax minimisation strategies for both individuals and businesses, as well as providing advice and assistance to small business operators, including the set-up of business entities in the most appropriate structure. She prepares individual wage and salary tax returns as well as business tax returns for sole traders, partnerships, companies, and trusts in a range of industries including farming, defence, transportation, education, and retail. Michaela is a certified Xero advisor and is particularly proficient in Xero and MYOB.

Outside of work Michaela enjoys traveling, horse riding for pleasure and competition, working on her family Connemara pony stud operation and spending time with family, friends and her three cats.

Shelley Lancaster

Shelley joined Schnelle Partners as a Senior Accountant in March 2023, bringing with her over 30 years of experience in local accounting. Her focus on small businesses and personal service makes her an invaluable asset to our team.

Shelley's extensive knowledge of primary production, gained from growing up on a farm, enables her to provide unique insights to our clients in the agricultural industry. She has also worked with clients in various small business industries, assisting them in achieving their goals and growth.

Outside of work, Shelley lives in Tangambalanga and spends her time volunteering for her local community. With her two children grown and out on their own, she has the opportunity to give back through various organisations such as serving as the Director of Finance for the Kiewa Cricket Club and being a past President and player of the Tangambalanga Tennis Club. On weekends, Shelley loves to pack up her caravan and explore the many beautiful campgrounds in the Kiewa Valley area with her husband.

Allison Walsh

Allison is the newest member to join the Schnelle Partners family in December 2025 in the role of senior accountant. Returning to Albury after an 8 year sea-change on the Sunshine Coast, Allison has now grounded herself in the local community and is happy to be “home”.

Allison has over 20 years experience with self-managed super funds, and has worked in a hybrid role between business tax and super for the last 8 years. She has worked with many different clients – from individuals right through to multiple entity structures, medical through to farming, and most variances in between. No matter the size of the client, Allison prides herself on giving the same quality of care to her clients. She holds accreditations with Xero and MYOB, and is also well versed with Quickbooks and Reckon.

On the weekends, you may see Allison performing at various live music venues around the region. Each year, Allison is involved in the local charity fundraising effort, Country Hope “On Key 4 Kids” as a vocal mentor, and is proud to be a part of giving back to our local community.

Alice Schnelle

Alice joined the Schnelle Partners team in 2015 and became an owner of the business with her husband Ryan in 2022.  In 2017 Alice completed her Bachelor of Accounting at Charles Sturt University.

Alice is the office Practice Administrator, taking care of Schnelle Partners internal bookkeeping, payroll, HR and KPI monitoring.  Alice also supports and works with the rest of the admin team.

On the weekend Alice loves to spend time with her golden retrievers Lilly and Ari, go out for brunch with her husband and catching up with family and friends.

Jess Van De Stadt

Jess joined the Schnelle Partners team in 2025, bringing with her a strong background in the travel industry and a range of administrative roles.

At Schnelle Partners, she enjoys a full-time role as our receptionist and provides comprehensive support to the remaining admin team and assists across all aspects of day-to-day operations. Known for her reliability and attention to detail, Jess is a valued member of the team.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading, practicing yoga, mastering the perfect homemade matcha, travelling and spending quality time with her family.

Shelly Damm

Shelly has been part of our administration team for over 15 years. Prior to this she had 10 years in the banking industry followed by bookkeeping for small businesses.

Shelly attends to all aspects of our office administration and is also responsible for all corporate secretarial matters including the preparation and lodgement of ASIC forms, ordering companies, trusts and self managed super funds and relevant ATO registrations. She can also attend to Business Name registrations on your behalf. Her other specialty is communicating with the ATO to rectify issues on behalf of our valued clients.

Outside of work Shelly likes to keep busy with her family, whether it be at home on their small acreage or out and about exploring. She has a passion for outback travel and lots of camping.

Maddy Hardman

Maddy joined the Schnelle Partners team in 2021 and has previously worked in reception and administrative roles in the travel industry.

At Schnelle Partners, she enjoys a part time role in our admin team and helps keep the general office admin up to date. In addition, she helps with the administrative side of self-managed superfunds and attends to ASIC annual reviews. Maddy enjoys supporting both clients and the team by ensuring office processes run smoothly and efficiently. Maddy has completed her Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping and is a Justice of the Peace (JP) for the State of NSW.

In her spare time, Maddy enjoys playing video and board games, being a Joey Scout Leader for 1st Wodonga Scout Group, reading a good book, going to concerts, playing with her dachshund, Link, and traveling with her husband.
